I am a hairdresser in Decatur and went back to work four hours a day just one week after surgery, eight hours a day in the second week. By the third week I was back full time. I feel better now than I have for the last two years.

For years I had been troubled with heavy periods and bleeding. In May, 2009, I had a uterine ablation. The pathology reports showed pre-cancerous tissue so an abdominal hysterectomy was scheduled. I learned about the daVinci surgery, but my doctor wasnt trained in this type of surgery. I found a doctor who was and Im so glad I had the surgery this way! My mother and older friends had warned me how tough the recovery was from a hysterectomy, so I was very relieved when my hospital stay was short and I was back to work in 13 days! This was MUCH easier than I expected and I was so thankful for this technology!
